Investment firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher has announced the arrival of specialist PE lawyer Kirk Radke to their New York branch.
Radke has represented Kirkland & Ellis with distinction for the best part of thirty years with control over private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
Radke said: “The increasingly complex and sophisticated nature of the private equity environment requires an integrated and focused approach in order to help clients gain a competitive advantage. Willkie’s deep experience, market credibility, and integrated approach to private equity deal making, regulation and fund formation provides that advantage.”
Radke will join the corporate and financial services department, where he will commence the development of his practice counselling domestic and international clients in acquisitions, divestitures, fund formations and other complex transactions.
Steven Gartner, co-chairman of Willkie says that Radke’s joining strengthens the firms’ private equity platform, which is regarded “well known” in the United States and Europe.
“The addition of Kirk highlights our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of excellence for our clients. Kirk is recognised internationally as a thought leader in the field.”
Radke continues, “I am pleased to be joining a group of entrepreneurial-minded colleagues and a firm that is highly regarded in the private equity business globally.”
